I am very happy with my new Bosch 500 Series Dishwasher. The racks are designed well to fit my dishes, both top and bottom, and the third rack is a great bonus. I have used the Home Connect App successfully and love the option to pop open the door for drying. It gets the dishes very clean and dries most things thoroughly with the exception of the plastic, which is expected. It is very quiet, which is a huge bonus.

Don't buy this dishwasher. Warranty for substantial parts is only 1 year. Dishwasher started leaking after 21 months and nothing was covered. I paid $900.00 and get a piece of junk after 21 months. Buyer be ware!

I have purchased three Bosch dishwashers, this make and model being my third. This model cleans dishes well, can fit a lot of dishes, and is quiet. I do find the lack of buttons and relying only on electronic sensors to change modes is extremely annoying. Holding down the power budget for 4 seconds for a reset doesn't always work and selecting another mode then doesn't always work. It is also extremely easy to accidentally hit one of the sensors to turn on the dishwasher and change the mode. The rinse agent compartment leaks too. There is no way to tell how much the compartment has in it either. The app is pretty nice. The glasses drawer is not tall enough.

I'm a big fan of Bosch machines. Our last washer and dryer lasted over 20 years of heavy use without any problem. We replaced our old Bosch dishwasher with this one, only because it was black and we remodeled with stainless appliances. We gave our old one to our nephew, who just bought a house without a dishwasher, so it was win-win. I especially love the air dry feature. It cleans beautifully and is very quiet. The red "running" light that shines onto the floor is very helpful. I will buy Bosch again, and always recommend them to friends.

A good dishwasher but not a great dishwasher. The dishwasher, on its own, doesn't seem to be able to get up to the temperature I needed for intense cleaning. I had to raise the overall household temperature of my water up 4° just to get the dishwasher to do a thorough cleaning. It's OK. But not as good as my former brand.

We chose this as a replacement for a 6yr old LG product that had already rusted through the racks and other issues. This item is quiter and I didn't think that was possible. Also it cleans so much better. We did need to learn how to load this product a bit but after that, it works great, quiet and gives us a much better cleaning of our dishes.

Quite frankly I expected a perfect appliance as I was willing to pay for a product that was much more expensive than GE, Westinghouse, LG etc. I find the digital control panel and remote app start unnecessary complications. The digital touch panel is not easy to use and definately not intuitive. I would rather have real depressable buttons where I know they have been pushed. the lights don't seem to easily tell me what I have done. The app is extremly challenging to set up despite the fact I feel I'm technically savvy.

I replaced my previous dishwasher with a Bosch. My previous dishwasher just did not do the job. I would watch a load of dishes only to find that several steel had stuck on food residue. And, they're basically quit working after three years. I did a lot of research, trying to decide which dishwasher to buy. I settled on a Bosch 500 series and I'm so happy with it. It really does an amazing job and I very seldom find anything that didn't come completely clean. I am so happy with my new dishwasher.

We only had the dishwasher for three or four months when it would not start because the door sensor didn't think the door was closed. We went through the warranty process which took a couple weeks to go through that process to get the latch replaced. After the repair was completed by a certified technician, when the wash was complete the door would unlock, but not open as it should for auto air resulting in moisture condensing on the controls and bottom of our counter. I moved the dishwasher to be more centered in the opening and adjusted the leveling feet from where the technician left it and it seems to be working now. This may just be how current dishwashers are, but it doesn't dry as well as our old dishwasher, even when using functions such as sanitize and auto air. We have also have a couple occasions where the soap tab has become lodged in the handle for the upper rack and not dissolved during the cycle. Because our counter is close to the top of the dishwasher you cannot see any of the controls when the door is closed. Finally, in order to use all of the cycle features you have to download and use the app.

Purchased in November 2024. Within one year the motherboard went out and now at 18 months something else is wrong and the soap tablets will not dissolve. I will say Bosch has been great with Customerservice. They are sending someone out six months after the warranty is expired to get it running again. I am not the only one having these issues.

They removed the buttons and the handle on front, not sure why. It's hard to operate, the "touch " controls don't work very well. The spikes that hold the dishes are not functional. The adjustable shelves and the folding brackets on those shelves make it no other. Beyond that it's quiet and it cleans my dishes.

I love the top silverware tray!! It is amazing and leaves room in the dishwasher for other items. It is very quiet and has the capability to start from off site by your phone. We currently are using this dishwasher in our rehab clinic and it is nice to be able to start from home if a staff forgets to start it.

Awesomely Quiet and Powerful

Usually it seems you have to choose between quiet and clean. The 500 does both! I can barely hear it when standing next to the dishwasher and not all elsewhere. Not only that, I start mine with my phone. Turns out that it easier and more intuitive with the phone ap if you want to do more than just "turn it on and go." Select my favorite profile and turn it on and go. I have even forgotten to turn it on after heading to work - no problem - start it up stopped at the light!

Just ok disappointing

I expected more from Bosch and this is not a lowest cost model . The auto open only happens some times and the dishes are still beer dry even if it sits all night open .
