June 3, 2026 out of the box Bosch 800 series dishwasher, piece of junk. Dead power panel. Screwed up computer power off reset every time for a test run that never runs. In an age of of hyper technology a low tech dishwasher from 1985 still out performs Bosch. Sad, a huge inconvenience and a BIG waste of time for people that have a life to live.

I can't hear it!

I am hearing impaired and wear hearing aids which unfortunately amplify noises in my environment too. This dishwasher is so quiet I have to get my ear up close to it to hear it! It definitely does not hinder conversation or TV watching in our open floor plan! Does a good job on the dishes too! It was worth the higher price tag.

Silverware holder way too small, had to purchase a larger one. Doesn't seem to clean very well on shorter cycles even though i thoroughly rinse stuff before putting them in. Requires the higher end dishwasher tabs or doesn't clean very well. My maytag at my previous house, about 3 years old, had none of these issues and was less expensive with a 10 year warranty.

The clean light only stays on for 5 minutes after the cycle has run. Seriously? So if one member of the household runs the dishwasher, the only way another person would know it's been run is by inspecting its contents? That is ludicrous. I would have never purchased this dishwasher had I know that!

Slightly disappointed, but the bar was high

We decided to buy a Bosch dishwasher after the Bosch dishwasher we had for 26 year was on its last legs. The new dishwasher has a third drawer for utensils. That took a little bit of getting used to, but we love it so much now that we have taken the utensil basket out of the bottom rack. What is disappointing are two things: The dishes are not as dry as the previous dishwasher would give me (even with the extra dry setting, and without any plastic dishes) But what is more problematic is that the dishwasher, after it finishes, times out the display and you can not know from the outside if the dishwasher has clean dirty dishes. The 'clean' LED is only on when it finishes, before it times out. But once the display times outs there is no indication. Even if you power the washer back on, it will not return to that state (clean LED) But aside from those issues, the washer is quiet and it washes the dishes very clean./

I purchased a dishwasher after my old one from the 1990's finally gave out. This dishwasher was very easy to install (without paying extra for installation), is very quiet compared to my old dishwasher, and everything comes out sparkling and clean. It has so much more room compared to my last dishwasher, and the added 3rd rack helps with all the larger cooking utensils or items that shouldn't go on bottom rack (like water bottle straws). I wish I had upgraded to a Bosch sooner. 10/10 would recommend getting this dishwasher.

Comparable model replacement for older Bosch

This replaced an older model with comparable model. Both were Series 300 same model but newer. This dishwasher is quiet but not as quiet as my older one. Dont know why not, they are rated the same decibels. The insulation was different. Also this one does not have a display to show the time left on the wash cycle. I would have preferred to have the timer than having the internet connection which I will never use & that probably added to the cost of the dishwasher. Incredibly small silver ware basket, half the size of my old one. Disappointed in my new dishwasher as compared to my old one. However it does wash the dishes well but does not dry as well as my older one. I have to use extra dry cycle for them to dry completely now. Older(8 years old)Bosch was working like new until lightening strike to house and my history with Bosch tells me it is a good product and will be reliable for a long time.

Disappointing Quality

I have heard great things about Bosch quality but this dishwasher did not live up to that reputation. Installed two years ago, the plastic at the top of the dishwasher has cracked, and there is no obvious repair. It's frustrating that the plastic used on this part (which is pulled on to open the dishwasher) is such poor quality that it would crack after only 2 years' use. I can only hope it doesn't break off as I continue to open the dishwasher...

Won't drain after 14 months - Warranty gone

I bought this dishwasher a little over a year ago and a couple months ago it started giving me issues, not draining properly. I called the plumber and had them fix it which worked for a few weeks before the issue came back. I had the plumber take another look and they said I would need to call the manufacturer as it seemed to be a machine error. Well of course the warranty only lasts a year, which shows VERY little faith in their own product. 1k and you don't have more faith in your products than that? Truly embarrassing. Why is is that customer service these days is always like litigation?

Bought this dishwasher because of the great reviews. Have had it just over one year and it broke. The unit would not drain. I went through the process of eliminaton to clear any issues, to no avail. Called a service tech and he replaced the drain pump. Immediately received the same code. Not draining. It has been out for more tha 3 weeks and still have not found the issue.

Stopped working after a couple dozen uses

Very dissappointed. We have a vacation condo that we only use about 8 weeks a year, so we only use the dishwasher about 20 or so times per year. Today it just stopped working. DOA. Out of warranty since we had it installed about a year and a half ago. We've had Bosch dishwashers in every home/condo we've owned and have had good luck until this one.

Timer missing sucks

I love Bosch dishwashers, but I will not buy another one. My new one has a serious flaw. No timer built in. The description said a timer was included. LIE! No longer is the timer built in to the dishwasher! This means I have to add an app to my phone, taking up phone storage, go find my phone when I want to set up dishwasher on delay start, find the app, and then do whatever I would have to do to set the timer. Then put the phone back where it belongs which is not in the kitchen. THIS SUCKS! All so Bosch can monitor when I am turning on my dishwasher. And send me marketing junk via my phone. I refuse to participate in this crappy "improvement." Next time I will buy a different brand that actually has a timer built-in.

This BOSCH dishwasher cleans much better than my previous one. It is quiet and I realy like being able to operate it remotely.

I purchased this model because it was highly rated on consumer reports. It cleans great, dries thoroughly and is extremely quiet. However, I only gave 4 stars because there is some room for improvement. I would have liked a larger utensil caddy as I run out of room quickly for larger items. Also when the cycle is finished, the clean light turns off. This causes a problem when one person starts the dishwasher, and another person adds dirty dishes hours later not knowing the cycle is clean. The last area is the sliding of the racks. Mine is not very smooth and does not glide out easily. Other than those small issues, I am pleased with how this dishwasher cleans and dries.

This is a great looking well built quality appliance. So far it has done a great job cleaning my dishes and I love how quiet it is. I really like the third utensil tray as it seems to get them cleaner compared to the traditional basket. They give you the installation manual but unfortunately not the user manual. I had to search for it and print it out myself which I was disappointed with. One thing I would change about the unit is the clean light should remain on until the door is opened. I had to purchase a Clean/Dirty magnet to keep track of it because of the lack of the clean light. Other than the manual and the clean light, I'm happy with my purchase.

What a outstanding dishwasher. Dishes come out squeaky clean and the machine is so quiet you hardly know it is running. It does this in half the time of the LG dishwasher it replaced.

Looks good. Washes well. Very quiet. Too many steps for a simple washing operation. The product manual and videos are terrible and do not provide any step-by-step instructions. I shouldn't have to connect the device wirelessly to get more options, as the manual directs.

This dishwasher is the best. I like the one hour cycle. The dishwasher is so nice and quiet. I can't even hear it run while I'm watching TV from across the room. The third shelf at the top is perfect for small items and knives. I would highly recommend this dishwasher!

I've had this dishwasher for over a year and unfortunately it does not wash the dishes as well as the previous washer, which was not a Bosch. I don't find that the silverware comes out as sparkling as I would like. Also, one of the rivets holding the bar that holds the arm of the sliding shelf has failed and I don't even know how this could be repaired right now tho it's still functional but if you get this dishwasher, definitely buy a warranty with it. It is very quiet which is lovely.

Doesn't Work!

This product was a warranty replacement from Best Buy. The last Bosch only lasted just under 5 years, and the one before that only 7. This is a lower end model as I refused to pay the difference for the most similar model. The installers were a third party company and the technician did not speak any English. It was a challenge to understand what was going on as he had trouble with the installation. After hours of tinkering the machine finally ran a test cycle after which the installers quickly packed up and left. The first time we tried to use the dishwasher, it only made a bunch of noises and finally flashed lights along with an incessant annoying tone that wouldn't stop until we turned it off. After that we tried to reset the machine and start the cycle again. We came home to a dishwasher full of dirty dishes that would no longer turn on. I discovered that it was tripping the circuit breaker and that's why I couldn't turn it back on. This happened several more times before finally installing the Home Connect app. This was the only way to discover what the error is since the manual doesn't come with a troubleshooting guide with what the varying flashing lights and tones mean. Using the app I I received the error code "water supply disturbed." The supply lines are checked and the water supply should be fine, and the drain pan and filter are clear as well. Bosch used to have a reputation for being the best dishwashers on the market. This is clearly no longer the case. Even within the few short years that our previously owned dishwashers were in operation several repair calls were made. I suppose the problem we are having with this brand new machine should come as no surprise.

We had a Bosch 500 four years ago but we moved and the house had a Samsung dishwasher. Unfortunately (or fortunately) the dishwasher failed my expectations so i decided to order Bosch dishwasher to replace it. My intent was to purchase the 800 but somehow I ended up ordering the 300 online. Needless to say I was disappointed at myself but I decided to keep the 300 since it was still a Bosch. Turns out Bosch 300 did NOT disappoint me. Its been a month and I'm very happy with my dishwasher. I've recommended Bosch to a couple of my friends and they too are very happy with their purchase!!!
