Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Bought this item as a part of a total kitchen remodel. Paired it with a new 36" range. Loved the sleek, low profile and the quiet exhaust fan. No issues with installation (professionally done). No problems at all since installation (>2 years).

We love this hood,we upgraded to go with our KitchenAid stove. The lighting options work well for us. The extraction is visible and works well for us. We found insulation straight forward and gave us the needed clearance above our new stove!

So Good!

2dmpls 10/18/2023

Box arrived open and damaged via FedEx. Venthpod wasn't secure inside. Tiny scratch on front panel. KA offered to send out a new once but it was on backorder. We installed it anyways due to trades schedules and Ours. This is definitely a two-person install. Easy assembly Easy instructions all parts and pieces were there. Great section low noise bright lights. Looks excellent.

Worked great until it died at three years

amyjen 5/9/2023

Attractive, slim design. Works great and nice lighting. But the electrical board died at three years. Still waiting to see if the replacement part is available. It seems like for $800 ish plus installation we should have gotten more than three years from it.

Finally, after relying on the mom & pop retailer to get it installed I gave up and did it myself. Not sure if it was worth a five year wait, but it looks and works great. Plenty of light, too.

Ultra sleek and quiet hood!

StephenPT 11/17/2020

Love this hood. It is extremely low profile (~2.5™€ below cabinet) and very quiet, especially at low speed which is nearly imperceptible. Installation of this hood is a bit more complicated than most hoods that just need four screw holes and a hole for the vent pipe. With this hood you remove most all of the bottom panel of the cabinet and screw large brackets to the gable walls of your cabinet. The perimeter vent system with hidden grease filters is an elegant touch that looks nice from all angles. CFM output seems good at all speeds and the boost is nice for those moments you broil something in the oven too long and have lots of smoke!

Jackilh 6/4/2020

I wish I had purchased a different model. I did not have appropriate kitchen design and product knowledge to make the best choice for the space and the way I cook. I should have gotten a different, more powerful design.

Touch screen?

68Whiskey 1/21/2020

Great fan with ease of use, only frustration is a sensitive touch screen - doesn™€™t always turn on/off with one single touch, it takes multiple pokes for the command to register.

Looks really nice, slim profile, really has a sleek look and works well. Only downside is you completely lose the cabinet above because that's where the fan is, but oh well (I mean, it's pretty big in there).
