This appliance is very user friendly. It cooks/reheats/thaws uniformly. All the settings are appropriate for a microwave in this price range. Installation was extremely easy since this was replacing a ten year old version of the same model. I hope this one lasts at least ten years too.

POOR PRODUCT POOR SUPPORT

My Microwave is only 7 or 8 months old and nearly caught fire. When I called for service I was told there is only one service tech in my area and I'd have to wait over 2 weeks for my appointment. With a visually impaired daughter at home (this is the only appliance she can use) the customer support showed no care, offered no alternatives. When I attempted to Chat with a different n agent, the person at Frigidaire kept typing until the chat timed out so I could not reply...useless. Even the website is horrible - they have instructions that are blocking me from seeing what I'm typing here...I though Frigidaire was supoosed to be a GOOD company...not anymore I guess.

It works fine. Was an upper model, because the more simple model was out of stock (company is redoing that particular model). The only thing that I didn't notice in the showroom, was how little the window is on this model. Being short I can not see how something is cooking (i.e. when water starts to boil). I know the window is smaller because of the buttons being on the bottom of the door itself.

The sensor cooking feature worked perfect for frozen vegetables. The clock™€™s clarity from across the room is blurred due to the closeness of the numbers, but it is great as a night light. The fan works fine, but is obnoxiously loud at all three levels.

This is a good microwave and we really like the looks of it. Overall operates well and does all of the basics. It could be a little more user friendly on the controls. The sensor heat and cooking is nice, but tends to over heat the food. It does the job but wish it did a little more for the money.
